I craved a steak because i haven’t had a good one since way before Covid. I ordered the Filet Steak meal and The Baklava. This was very juicy and flavorful and truthfully the best steak that i have had in a long time and from here.I also loved their Baklava (I have tasted it prior from somewhere else) It was amazing from here.
The steak was so………. good that i devoured my wifes steak after i felt like she didn’t eat it in a timely matter {It was sitting too long and calling my name}. We were also given extra butter. Right now to me,butter makes EVERYTHING better! I don’t know what it is,because i love the butter from the steak houses.
Their service was impeccable, i was greeted by both young ladies when i came in.This was a very nice surprise! It didn’t use to be that way a few years ago.
Kudos to the chef!

We tried this place on a whim, as another area restaurant was packed. When you walk in, you step up to the counter, grab your tray and utensils, and then order what you want, The food is prepared as you move your way down the counter, sort of cafeteria style, allowing you watch as your food is cooked on the grill. On the day we were there, the mother and daughter of the family that owns the restaurant were working the counter. My wife and I each ordered the gyro sandwich with fries, and my father went for the ribeye dinner special ( 10oz ribeye, salad/soup, baked potato ,and Texas toast. $14.50). The portions are big.
A previous reviewer stated the gyro was hard to pick up and eat like a sandwich, with meat falling out. This was not because the pita was small, it was a result of all the gyro meat they give you. They were generous with the gyro meat. The amount of tomato and onions were just right if you ask me. What I also noticed and loved was the French fries. You could tell that the fries were cut from potatoes on site, no frozen fries here, and you can taste the difference.
Dad’s steak was good, though slightly over cooked, more medium than medium rare, but is was tender and juicy. He was very happy with it. As for it being a 10 oz steak, I would guess it was bigger than that. Even though it was a thinner cut, it was nice sized.
The dining area of the restaurant was a bit dated, but not at all run down or dusty. Actually it felt like I had been transported back to my childhood, during times when we were lucky enough to go out to eat. This was the kind of family owner establishment we would eat at. The family has kept up the interior without having to update the decor. The dining area was very clean, well kept, and tables & chairs didn’t look like they had been there 20 years. It is clear the family’s main focus was good food at a good price.
One note, at this time they only accept cash and check for payment, no plastic taken here.

When I was living in Red Wind, our family will go there every other Sunday. Very nice people, the food is amazing. Now am in Tx and can’t wait to visit Farmington steakhouse. Again . Was there one the years 1990 to 1995.
